The hotel owes its name to the former butcher, Mr. Jonker, whose meat and cold cuts business occupied the ground floor for decades. On this floor, you can still find the original tiles from the butcher shop, along with various other historical elements. The upper floors are accessible through a unique staircase and feature beautiful, characteristic beams that are emblematic for this monumental building.
